Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.
We are now looking to recruit a Premises Officer to join us to support the Premises Management Team with a range of tasks associated with basic maintenance, cleaning, security and courier services.
Acting as a key holder for college premises and ensuring buildings are available for access at required times, you will provide porterage duties including moving equipment, furniture and other items and support the Premises team by undertaking minor maintenance, repairs and installation of fixtures and fittings.
Assisting with site security and proactively identifying and reporting defects, faults and security matters, you must support the Premises Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a team of Premises cleaners/ contract cleaners; undertaking cleaning (reactive and planned) and ensuring that equipment and consumables are safely used, correctly stored and maintained.
With experience of working in a customer centered environment and the ability to prioritise workload and organise your own work schedule, candidates will ideally have experience of working in a caretaking / building facilities / portering role and a first aid certificate (or prepared to undertake training to qualify as first aider).
Premises Officer working a two shift system - 06:00 – 14.00 , 14:00- 22:00
A full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
