SEND Additional Support Team Leader

Location: Hull

Salary: Actual salary £16,849.37 per annum

Part Time, 30 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a SEND Additional Support Team Leader to join us.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the line management of a staff team who deliver an area of specialist support / delivery in a specified environment. Assisting the Learner Support Service Director and SEND Additional Support Co-ordinators, you will manage and improve the service cross-college at the point of delivery for both students and staff.

In order to be successful in this role, you will hold at least a Level 3 qualification along with Level 2 IT (or equivalent qualification. You will also possess GCSE English and Maths (grade 4 or above).

We are seeking candidates who have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivery of SEND support and experience of accessing and navigating confidently around college ICT systems, in particular ProSolutions.

With experience of mentoring work, teaching, team leading, or group work, you will have recent and relevant experience of working in a supervisory capacity along with experience of networking within a large organisation.
