We are currently looking to appoint a Work Placement Officer on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Within the role you will arrange and monitor the progress of full time students on industry placements and source learners, pre-screen and facilitate pre-interview preparation for all vacancies to ensure a high quality placement service is provided in order to support learners and businesses for mutual success.
Managing an agreed caseload of learners, you will support tutors in the visiting schedule for all students and assist in the administration of recording work placement activities; promoting the College’s curriculum programmes to employers and prospective learners and attending internal and external meetings and events and report on learner progress.
Able to manage your own workload and deal with conflicting demands and timescales, you will have excellent administrative, organisational and record keeping skills and knowledge of quality assurance processes.With an understanding of the need to comply with audit requirements, you will hold a Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g. Health and Social Care or Early Years for CACHE courses) and have a full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
